My First Botanical Artwork: A Journey from Frustration to Inspiration

Creating art is often a journey filled with unexpected twists and turns. This was certainly the case with my first botanical artwork, inspired by the lush greenery of the Bushey area in London before the bushes were cut down for the summer. I want to share the process and the surprising evolution of this piece, which ultimately taught me a valuable lesson about patience and perseverance in art.

It all started with a black base. One day, after applying a layer of black paint, I decided to add some dark green to begin sketching out the bushes.
